Company Profile

Bliss is a hair salon that made its debut in downtown Mystic CT in April 2002.  We are a small salon overlooking the Mystic River, offering a quite, relaxing hair experience.

Bliss is a member of Goldwell Salon Alliance

Chris Kurcinik is the Owner and President of the company.   She has been in business for over 10 years, working with both Paul Mitchell and Goldwell prior to branching out on her own.  Chris possesses a Master Colorist Certification and was a color educator for Goldwell for more than 4 years.  She specializes in Color and has work published in 3 Project Glossies (an internationally recognized coffee table book of hair color).  Chris is the person to go to if you are thinking of changing your hair color or more importantly, if you need a color correction!

Christina Montalvo  has been a stylist for over 10 years as well. She has had extensive training with American Crew and Goldwell. She excels in men's haircutting and a master of updo styling. Her range is quite lengthy.  She can create the most formal of styles as well trendy and fun. She has been requested to travel to venues for her formal styling expertise.
